Service: 8th US Air Force - In Europe - 2nd World War.

Tomkins Charles, one of Alberta's Cree soldiers enlisted in the Canadian army, was summoned to Canadian military headquarters in London, but even his commander did not know why.

The US Army wanted to recruit him, along with 3 other Cree soldiers.

They wanted to use his Cree language skills for the 8th Air Force.

 

Code Talkers Cree are part of these forgotten and unknown code talkers to this day.
