cornelius charles cusick

2nd Lieutenant Cusick enlisted in the 52nd New York Infantry Regiment on August 14, 1862. He was transferred to the 132nd Infantry Company of New York on September 10, 1862. He remained in the 132nd Infantry Regiment of New York. New York until the end of the war. and raised on June 29, 1865. Promoted to the 1st Lieutenant on January 25, 1863.

After the Civil War, 1st Lieutenant Cusick was transferred to the US Army, serving in the 22nd, 13th and 31st American Infantry Regiments. He was promoted captain (date unknown) and retired on January 14, 1892.

Captain Cusick was a member of the Tuscarora Indian tribe.
