Born September 14, 1958 Wetumka, Oklahoma, Chickasaw Indian. He grew up in Colorado, Wyoming and Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree in mathematical science at the University of Colorado in 1983 and a master of aeronautical science in 1995.

From 1984 to 1995, he will perform several missions abroad in the U.S. Navy as a pilot. He has over 3800 flight hours in 30 different aircraft.

 

Selected by NASA in April 1996, will follow two years of training.

It will be left to the STS-113 Endeavour, from 23 November to 7 December 2002, towards the International Space Station. He will carry out three missions in space. His space flight lasted a total of 13 days, 18 hours and 47 minutes.

 

He left the U.S. Navy and NASA in July 2005 to work in Rocketplane Limited''.''
